I dont know how can here stated bumbu bali is halal? Yes they diNt serve pork, but they serve alcohol drinks β¦ please check before you post
Thank you for taking the time to comment, we have updated the article.
Defining βhalalβ is like defining βcleanβ. It has varying levels depending on ones own standard. Basically, βhalalβ from edibility pov is if the animal (except fish) is killed in a certain way.
One can escalate from here; if the ingredients in food contains forbidden material (eg alcohol), if the source of food is doubtful etc.
No pork can be halal if the non-pork items consumed are also halal. But if say the chicken is not slaughtered according to Muslim rites, its still non-halal, despite pork is not served.
The Jakim Halal cert takes it to the highest level eg if alcohol is sold the eatery will not be issued with Jakims Halal Cert. That does not mean the food is not halal (strictly from consumption pov).
Most of the eateries in Europe probably will not pass Jakims halal certification but Muslims there have no issue with the level of halal practised there.
