Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) will organize a Ramadan bazaar briefing next month to inform hawkers on the do’s and don’ts at Ramadan bazaars.
“The briefing will cover topics such as good practices for food handling and recycling, proper waste management and use of resources as well as entrepreneurial tips,” said Subang Jaya deputy mayor Mohd Zulkurnain Che Ali.
“The hawkers’ selection process, drawing of trading lots, permit payment, and traffic flow management plan will be announced at the briefing,” he said.
“Hawkers will also be reminded of conditions and standard operating procedure that they have to adhere to as outlined by the National Security Council, Selangor government and MBSJ,” he added.
The briefing is scheduled for March 7 to 9 at the MBSJ multipurpose hall in Taman Puchong Indah.
Each one-day session will cater to two zones under MBSJ.
